Many Needs

Our active church has many needs;
- people are needed in various roles - some paid - many voluntary
- day to day costs need to covered - electric - paper - equipment
- buildings and grounds need to be maintained and developed - church - churchyard - Community Rooms
- the wider church needs our support - diocese - missions agencies

Our Call

Through stewardship we are called to offer our time, our talents and our money to enable the needs to be met.
Each two years we encourage the people of our church to review their stewardship.

People`s Time and Talents

There are many ways where the skills and time of our people are used.  If you want more details contact our churchwardens.

People`s Giving

There are costs that we need to pay and these can only be met by people freely contributing.
We encourage committed regular giving through our Planned Giving Scheme.
This enables;
- giving through bank standing order or our envelope scheme
- for tax payers, under the Gift Aid scheme, we can claim tax which has been paid on any giving

Some Facts

- parish share - the amount we pay to the diocese mainly for clergy pay, housing and pensions - about 61,000 for 2010
- staff costs - Associate Vicar, Parish Administrator, Organist, Children`s Worker, Gardeners, Cleaner - about 37,000 for 2010
- missions support - we are committed to giving a percentage of income to areas of need - normally about 9,000 
 
- there are about 200 supporters in the Planned Giving Scheme - some are couples
- we claim over 15,000 each year in Gift Aid

- we estimate that our costs will exceed our income in 2011 by about 2,200 each month
